Abilities

Ability What to expect
Barrage Channel damaging, slowing projectiles. Hero hits grant stacking damage amplification. Air Dash and Flying Cloak do not cancel Barrage.
Flying Cloak Send the cloak forward to damage enemies. Recast the second ability to teleport to its position.
Enchanter’s Satchel Enter the suitcase, then damage nearby enemies when it ends. Any action can end the duration early.
Affliction Apply nearby spirit damage over time. This damage cannot kill and does not trigger item procs.

Lane and fight plan

Start an exchange with Barrage where you can land hero hits without exposing yourself for the entire channel. Send the cloak toward a useful position and decide whether to recast based on the enemy response. Keep Satchel for a threat you intend to avoid; stop other inputs while you need to remain inside. Apply Affliction when multiple reachable enemies can be pressured, then finish low-health targets with another source of damage.

Failures to avoid

A cloak teleport goes to the cloak, so check its destination before committing. Pressing another action can end Satchel earlier than planned. Affliction is pressure, not an execute: its non-lethal damage and lack of item procs change both finishing decisions and item expectations.

Scope

Mechanics checked against client build 6745. The combat tips are based on those mechanics, rather than in-game testing.
