Abilities
| Ability | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Scrap Grenade | A scrap grenade explodes repeatedly for bullet damage and a slow. Melee can knock it away. |
| Rat Swarm | Attached rats deal spirit damage over time and reduce bullet resistance with bites. More attached rats bite faster. Ground or air dashes remove a rat early. |
| Royal Pestments | Gain a maximum-health-based combat barrier. While it survives, bullets have a chance to reflect; the barrier does not benefit from resistances. |
| Rule, Ratannia! | A nearby banner grants allies movement speed, slow immunity, and reduced incoming damage. The slam deals bullet damage, knocks enemies up, slows them, and sends out rats. |
Lane and fight plan
In lane, send rats at an accessible enemy and keep enough line of fire to use the resistance reduction. Place a grenade where repeated blasts can matter, while accounting for a melee response. Activate the armor before the bullet pressure you want it to absorb. In team fights, bring allies inside the banner’s useful area and slam where the knock-up and rats support their follow-up.
Failures to avoid
Dashes shed rats, melee displaces the grenade, and resistance purchases do not directly strengthen Royal Pestments’ barrier. Reflection is a chance while the barrier holds. Banner slow immunity does not imply immunity to every control effect. Rat King’s official release is confirmed; the other five announced heroes are not assumed playable.
